Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born Amal Ra. Alamuddin. She was a Lebanese British legal practitioner and human rights activist. She has graduated from Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her long career has been praised internationally for her achievements in international law and the field in human rights. The clients she has worked with have been numerous nation states, including the state of Armenia as it fights to be recognized as Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney got engaged in 2014, and then was married in 2015 to American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household word. Before this, she had established herself as a household name within the legal community because of her capacity to advocate for clients.
