Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16, 1984, on the island of Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. She has appeared on QI along with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly than her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish writer, actress and stand-up comic. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011after having appeared in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British shows since the year the year 2009. The year 2012 saw her begin to appear regularly on sketch and sitcoms. When she was awarded an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then was a frequent guest on a variety of panel shows, where she's now a staple. In 2016 and 2017, she was a team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian O'Sullivan and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her older sister was born. In 2012 she became the only woman in history to be awarded the So You Think You're Funny award. Bea is her surname in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh, born the 16th of March, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. She was the daughter of Brian O'Sullivan. Brian was an equine veterinarian who died at the age of three. Bea was just three years old, though she wasn't told about the cause of his death until she turned 13. Bea chose to stage her name Bea to honor her father who passed away. Bea also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea was raised with her younger sister Sinead with Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary instructor, trainer of jockeys, and former professional racer. The family was obsessed with horses and racing. Bea was a child an instructor for the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she was not interested in racing as a career. Instead she loved the artistic arts.
